grammar

We have learned a new form of the verb: the request form. It is formed by the Renyokei + たい. This shape not only looks like an i-adjective, but is also one. ;) I-adjectives express something subjective that たい form means something like: "I want ...". It is not for wanting a third Person uses. But you can say for example: ". There is someone who wants to go" いきたい 人 あります = The negation and the past can be made as a normal I-adjective. Another possible application of the request form for other than yourself is to ask if he wants something. But this is only ok if you know those well. For example: "いきたい です か" - Will you go? For all others, one can formulate the following question: "いきません か" - So with the help of the denial form. This corresponds to a polite question whether the person wants to go, not how it can be seen translated as rude prompt ("Do not you go?"). The request form for the 3rd Person is: いき たげる.
