I recently came across two interesting podcasts. 1. Basics (German): http://www.jpodcast.de/ second Advanced (English): japancast.net www.japancast.net is very extensive with lots of additional information around Japan. In the podcasts and stories to read before, translated lyrics or extracts from anime. On japancast.net also this great video is embedded: http://vimeo.com/12112529 .
